Fragrance: Print Ads
Here are the final selection of print ads for Dasai Fragrance. After all our inspirations (which you can see here) the shoot took place in a studio and on location in the streets of Nottingham. Following on from the video ad, we took a little more creative approach. With the same streetwear, boyish imagery but with loud and illustrative post-production. I feel like it fully includes our brand values and core message of celebrating creativity within men. Please enjoy.

DIY: Gucci Flower Choker
Gucci has paved the way for the past couple of seasons with the Maximalist, Magpie Grandma trend. It's a little bit nerdy, little bit sparkly and all unexpected. They featured a whole host of flower adorned accessories so here is how to make a super simple farbic flower. I've done it onto a choker but you can literally stick these on everything and make them in any scale. Heck, you can basically become a flower fairy.
You will need: some fabric of your choice, Scissors, Pins, Ribbon (or anything to stick it on), Paper, Pencil, Needle and Thread.
1. Make a stencil by drawing around something circular. Make a chain of them on a base which is about 1cm wide.
2. Pin the stencil onto the fabric and cut out.
3. Stitch a running through the base of the circles and gather it up.
4. Fluff the "petals" of the flower up and stitch through the bottom of them to secure.
5. Stitch onto your chosen base- you could also make brooches, hair ties or bracelets. Anything you can think of!

Fragrance: Collage Inspiration
For the print ad for Dasai Fragrance, the main focus was going to be on post-production. The consensus was that this would appeal to the creative side of the consumer. I really like the face obscuring, slightly surreal collages. They can be used to create a kind of visual for the profile of the consumer. The vintage sort of style is very trendy at the moment but for the aesthetic of Dasai, a more 90's minimalistic approach would work really well.

Fragrance: Advertising
Meet the Model Lewis- Dasai Fragrance from Anna Proffitt on Vimeo.
Dasai Commerical from Anna Proffitt on Vimeo.
Meet the Model Marcus- Dasai Fragrance from Anna Proffitt on Vimeo.
The video outcomes for Dasai Fragrance. We were inspired by documentary style filming of 90's skate videos and ad campaigns like the ASAP x Guess one. The main advert follows the guys in there everyday life so you could imagine how the fragrance would fit into your life and the cool things you do. Then we have two meet the model videos for Lew and Marcus, making the brand more relatable and relaxed.

Warmer Playlist
New current playlist. I think that Alice in Chains mashed with Hinds and David Bowie works quite well together. I've called it Warmer in the hope it's going to get warmer outside but also it sounds a little friendlier than my last playlist.
