Stylist and Model : Me

This marks the start of a project I have been doing with a dear friend and photographer Hannah Gatenby (follow her here and here). It is called Decades of Vintage and has allowed us both to exercise our favourite creative disciplines- photography for her and styling for me.
The first takes inspiration from the 1950's. We went for Teddy Boys and Girls to focus on instead of the typical "New Look"- neither of us are particularly girly and if you look at photos from the time of this subculture, it's really bloody cool. Taking to the streets of Nottingham in mensy suits and beater boot topped with classic red lip and 50s ponytail, I think capture the vibe of our inspiration.
