White was everywhere, maybe it's because its summer but there was lots. The LWD still remains and does almost look cooler than it's black alter ego, even pale ones like myself could definitely try it.

Ruffle
I couldn't be happier with the amount of ruffles on the catwalk. Not just around your neck but around your waist, across your body, just generally scattered about. It's a DIY copiers dream. Tome is absolutely leader, the whole collection was so beautiful and elegant.

Sequins
All that glitters, we should definitely wear. So many ways to wear this trend from the beautiful but cool two piece at Rosie Assoulin to a chic slip at Prabal Gurung. I could see this as the 70's turning into the 80's via Studio 54.

Slip
Maybe the 90's is still hanging on in there, especially with trainers like Adam Selman. Contrasting is Jason Wu bringing back 1940's glamour with a cinched in waist and knee grazing length. I am happy to see this since it is such a wardrobe staple and oh so easy to wear.

Ooooh, I'm so excited to see slip being worn on casual outfits! Worn with trainers and a blazer, it looks AMAZING!

The slip one is interesting- there's so many interesting ways you can style that piece! I especially love it layered over a tee, that's such a cool layering move. And yay for sequins still reigning! I can't get over that trend.
ReplyDeleteSo with you on the ruffle loving, and lots of whites... so clean and effortless!
