Thats's a good point, I think the fur industry could become sustainable and more humane much like the meat industry. Then again I don't think people realize that similar things happen in the Leather industry and are quite happy to wear shoes and coats without a thought. It is definitely a taboo subject in the industry and really needs to be more transparent so we can help to change it
