The second snow of year! I suppose it just means even more knitwear and hot chocolate. I'm so happy I bought this giant blanket scarf from Asos. It's so soft and the two tone Khaki is so nice. 

Who else has the snow?

My coat and shoes are both about 2 years old but they just keep on rolling out of my wardrobe. I've mixed them with my two most trusted items, oversized white shirt and leather trousers.

Vintage Coats and New Years

You all know what I mean, that fusty, charity shop smell that almost all vintage coats and clothes have, as if they have been stashed in an old wardrobe since the decade they were made. It can be especially bad with thick or furry coats as the smell gets within the fibers. 
The best way to get it out, as I found with my new Sheepskin coat, is to have it dry cleaned then hang it in a well aired room (like a garage) with plenty of scent bags.
