Final lot of photographs from Paris. If the inside of the Galleries Lafayette isn't gorgeous enough the view from the roof amazing, with an Eiffel Tower lingering in the background. I don't think the Eiffel tower ever gets old, no wonder someone actually married it (seriously).

The last two days took us to the Palais Galleria for the Jeanne Lanvin exhibition, having just studied the 1930s in depth it was amazing to see the dresses in real life. This was the same for Les Arts Décoratifs and the Elsa Schiaparelli collection. For a sewer, an exhibition with 3,000 buttons was magic. I cannot wait to go to Paris again hopefully in the near future!

Such a ghostly glow in these photographs!

I had a successful day in London Fabric shopping last Wednesday and of course pulled in a little clothes shopping! I bought this shirt for Other Stories, yet another oversized shirt to add to my uniform! This ones going to be great in the summer on a beach (winter dreaming...). I also got much need new boots to give my black ones a break, they have done so well stomping around NYC! 

Paris is in 3 weeks so I think that's appropriate time to start packing...

Gilet- DIY Fedora - Monki Shorts - Missguided Neckerchief - Cow Necklace - Zara

So here we are with a little nod to the 70's, I'm feeling very fond of it already. I love using the neckerchief for a little colour against the usual monochrome and the trusty fedora is always a winner. 

I'm currently trying to work out my Paris wardrobe for the beginning of March (eep!!), does anyone know what the weather will be doing?

It was sale shopping to the rescue for New Year, this playsuit was lurking in a corner of Zara. Chic yet comfortable for dancing. And of course it wouldn't be NYE without a little glitter!

Jeans - Topshop (similar) Blazer - Mango Hat - Monki Boots - Office

I have finally resurrected these jeans after probably a year. I love how they are true denim with no stretch in them so they fit really nicely. But the hat and boots are brand new replacements. New Chelsea boots at long last! These ones are so pretty with the brogue details and the tight ankle, And a properly fitting hat (woop!) Monki always gets it right. 

The bag is my newest DIY, super easy thing to do with a scrap of fur fabric.

Blue Cigarette

I bought these trousers from a shop whilst on holiday in North Wales, if your Pwllheli bound it's called Urban Coast. I recognised Glamorous from many a trawl on Asos but didn't realise how great it was for the taller of us, these cigarette pants are actually the right length which ,if your also verging the 5.11" mark, you'll know that's quite hard to come by. They are such a gorgeous shade of baby blue so I threw on my go to black basics so not to shock myself with too much colour (I'm trying though!)

I very rarely wear pleats or skirts for that matter, I am really not a girly girl at all. I have had this skirt for a while but have only just found a top that goes, even though it is simply a grey sweatshirt.
