Top- Topshop Trousers - Warehouse Jacket - Mango Boots - Topshop (old)

I had these trousers about to be sent back but they saved the day for birthday drinks. If your ever in Revolution I would recommend a birthday cake shot. I am very happy I kept these trousers, they are great as an everyday basic as well as going out and I am a sucker for D Ring detailing! If your in need of some inspiration go and look at the leather section on Mango it's amazing.

Dress - Topshop Jacket - Mango Scarf - Alexander McQueen Bag - Other Stories

Finally, a proper leather jacket! By proper I mean all cropped and nipped with buckles and zips and of course real leather. I feel I have all wardrobe basics down now. I went for this curved hem dress and McQueen silk scarf as I'm so excited to be going to the Savage Beauty Exhibition at the V&A this week. 

Has anyone else been to the exhibition yet?

Spring Thing

Dress - Zara Bag - Other Stories Sunglasses- Topshop Boots - Russel and Bromley

I think spring is here! It's the first time I've been out without a coat which is fabulous! I bought this dress in Zara in Paris so I love it a little bit more, I will definitely be taking a pattern off it and making more. 

I went to see Dior and I at the Curzon Cinema in Sheffield which you have to see if you love anything to do with fashion and sewing. It follows Raf Simons creating his first Haute Couture collection (the one with the rooms made of flowers if you remember), we came out feeling very inspired.

Eiffel

Final lot of photographs from Paris. If the inside of the Galleries Lafayette isn't gorgeous enough the view from the roof amazing, with an Eiffel Tower lingering in the background. I don't think the Eiffel tower ever gets old, no wonder someone actually married it (seriously).

The last two days took us to the Palais Galleria for the Jeanne Lanvin exhibition, having just studied the 1930s in depth it was amazing to see the dresses in real life. This was the same for Les Arts Décoratifs and the Elsa Schiaparelli collection. For a sewer, an exhibition with 3,000 buttons was magic. I cannot wait to go to Paris again hopefully in the near future!

Such a ghostly glow in these photographs!

I had a successful day in London Fabric shopping last Wednesday and of course pulled in a little clothes shopping! I bought this shirt for Other Stories, yet another oversized shirt to add to my uniform! This ones going to be great in the summer on a beach (winter dreaming...). I also got much need new boots to give my black ones a break, they have done so well stomping around NYC! 

Paris is in 3 weeks so I think that's appropriate time to start packing...

The lack of posts is down to the impossible mountain of work to do at the moment, if your going to do fashion, brace yourself. 

An over sized shirt is one of the most useful things you can own; there is a million ways to wear it! They have pretty much become my uniform, I love this one from Topshop with a pop of colour through it.

I have had this skirt for quite a while know but I'm still in love the deer print, I wanted everything in the range! The gilet is my newest sewing project, I couldn't bare to spend over £60 when they are super simple to make and I think I prefer my own!I threw on this coat because of the snowy weather but I quite like the double camel what do you think?

Jumper - H&M Trouser - Monki Hat - Monki Boots - Office

So here's the first of my America buys to get to the blog. They literally have a H&M on every street corner and this jumper was looking at me on very single one. I'm not one for colour so this is a good step away from black. I love the sloppy jumper with loose trousers, they are the matching ones to the last outfit posts's jacket - I will wear the whole suit one day!

Empire State

Fur - Asos Sleeveless Blazer - Vessos Shirt - Zara Boots - Office

Photographs from the last day in New York. This was from the top of the Rockefeller building, probably my favourite view looking straight at the Empire State.  The actual building it's self is beautiful, all black and gold art deco and the ice rink in the background. 

On the last day we visited the FIT museum lingerie exhibition which was so stunning, the 1930s nightwear is just divine. What Comes Around vintage had me swooning too, the vintage Chanel and Dior is incredible. If you ever get the chance to go to NYC, absolutely grab it. Even if you don't think you like cities, there really is something for everyone.
