It is certainly a British November, cold and wet. This scarf is so useful for this weather, you can wear it in a million different ways, I love it with this steely grey blazer. I couldn't resist it in the sale and I have the matching trousers from a while back and can't wait to wear the whole suit!

Empire State

Photographs from the last day in New York. This was from the top of the Rockefeller building, probably my favourite view looking straight at the Empire State.  The actual building it's self is beautiful, all black and gold art deco and the ice rink in the background. 

On the last day we visited the FIT museum lingerie exhibition which was so stunning, the 1930s nightwear is just divine. What Comes Around vintage had me swooning too, the vintage Chanel and Dior is incredible. If you ever get the chance to go to NYC, absolutely grab it. Even if you don't think you like cities, there really is something for everyone.

Am I Audrey yet? This dress was the fastest dress I've ever made as I suddenly realised really I needed an LBD to go Tiffany's in. It truly is a beautiful building, we spent a good hour drooling over the jewels inside. 

Although my boots started off well, by the end of the 2nd day I was pretty much crawling down the streets, feet held together with blister plasters. It was a million percent worth it though, we only caught a taxi once so we saw so much more walking the whole of it.
