Shirt Dress - Topshop Shorts - American Apparel Bralet - DIY Sandals - Topshop (old)

Oh my, this humid weather is doing nothing for the frizz, I feel like a lion at the moment! I am wearing a leather bralet (which you can by made to measure on my depop @aforvogue) underneath and stuck to everything, still I am determined to make summer leather work! 

I am off to Ynot festival next weekend and trying my hardest not to look like a festival cliché but I don't think I can go without wellies...

Shirt - Paul Smith Bralet - Topshop Jeans - Zara Bag - Vintage

I think mens shirts are a million times better than womens. This one is from Paul Smith on a recent trip to Bicester Village and it is such beautiful fabric and the A -Line shape is so perfect, so much better than form fitting womens ones which if you buy them oversized just make me look frumpy. The little printed collar just tops this off, you will be seeing lots more of this little shirt I promise

I've had this skirt since about May but haven't been totally into it as I really am not a girly girl and I'm a bit of a colour-phob (khaki is hardly colourful I know but...). So it's out of my comfort zone but the world of street style has led me into longing for a little more of a feminie streak. I love how swishy the skirt is without appearing too full and paired with my safe black basics I've eeked my way to it for a not to girly yet a whole lot less boyish outfit.

Jumper - American Apparel Dress -Topshop Sliders - Birkenstocks Bag - V&A

Sorry for the weird angle of these photographs, I was at Nottingham Trent University and couldn't find a really good angle! I wore a mix of old things really, my go to silk dress with arguably the only sweatshirt anyone would need in their wardrobe (hint - go and buy one you won't regret it!). 

I went to NTU for the open day and I think it could almost be the one! I was desperate to move further from home but the course just looked so good with so many opportunities, I might be sticking around a little longer. Of course it is such a major decision there's a lot to think about...

I think this blazer is the best thing I've ever bought there is about a million things it will go with. Here I went for a bit of a smoking jacket vibe with the loafers, I wish the weather would pick up again, I'm itching to get the shorts out...
